Word Mapping Levels 1 – 2

A well-developed vocabulary improves all areas of communication: listening, reading, speaking and writing. Word Mapping allows the student to see, read and interact with words, make connections between new and known words, and grow their vocabulary base.

Using an array of language-based exercises, the student will work with six target words. With illustrations to represent the words, the student will match associative phrases, complete sentences, form sentence with word pairs, determine synonyms and antonyms and answer questions. The exercises are varied and colourful, combining new and existing skills to promote language and vocabulary growth.
